- Account Information: Email address, name, and password (or authentication through Apple
Sign In or Google Sign In)
- Profile Information: Age, gender, height, weight, activity level, and health goals
- Meal Data: Photos of your meals, descriptions, and any notes you provide
- Habit Information: Your selected health habits and tracking data
- Voice Recordings: If you use the voice-to-text feature for meal descriptions (processed and
immediately deleted)
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
- Usage Data: App features used, time spent in app, interaction patterns
- Log Data: IP address, crash reports, performance data
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide AI-powered meal analysis and nutritional insights
- Track your progress toward health and habit goals
- Personalize your experience and recommendations
- Improve our AI models and app functionality
- Communicate with you about your account and our services
- Ensure the security and integrity of our services

3. AI Processing
We use OpenAI's GPT-4 Vision and Whisper APIs to analyze your meal photos and transcribe voice inputs. When you
submit a meal photo or voice recording:
- Images are securely transmitted to OpenAI for analysis
- Voice recordings are transcribed and immediately deleted
- OpenAI processes data according to their Privacy Policy
- Analysis results are returned to our app and stored in your account
- We do not train custom AI models on your personal data
4. How We Share Your Information
We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service Providers: OpenAI for AI analysis, cloud hosting providers (MongoDB Atlas),
authentication services (Apple, Google)
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We implement industry-standard security measures:
- Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Encryption of data at rest
- Secure authentication using JWT tokens
- Regular security audits and updates
- Limited employee access to personal data
6. Data Retention
- Account Data: Retained while your account is active
- Meal History: Retained according to your subscription plan (7-365 days)
- Voice Recordings: Immediately deleted after transcription
- Deleted Account Data: Permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion request

- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data

8. Children's Privacy
Our app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us

ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with applicable data

Our app integrates with:

constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the
right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to
opt-out of the sale of personal information (note: we do not sell personal information).
